It’s true! The news that The Strokes are back to release a new album has been confirmed. Although there are no specific details on the album or title yet, we do know that their recently announced new single, All The Time will be the first from the album. The single has yet to be ‘leaked’ to the public but I would imagine it won’t be long before we hear it.
It is the fifth studio album from the band and I personally can not wait. I have only managed to see them play live once at a gig in Los Angeles and it was one of the best rock gigs I have been to. It was unclear if the band would be making a follow up to Angles, but when it was reported on Billboard.com that the band had been spending time at New York’s Electric Lady Studios it was hard to believe that they wouldn’t. The fact that they had been in the studio was downplayed at the time, which is probably adding to the hype regarding this latest announcement.
