Since 2001, when Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released their debut album, they have released five highly regarded studio albums, released two live DVD’s including 2010’s ‘Live in London’ and toured relentlessly across the world. Oh and look at that, they are still going strong having just released a free EP which they are giving away to fans on the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Official Site. Let The Day Begin features classic BRMC style rock tracks that fans are unlikely to be disappointed with. Not only do you get the studio version of the new single Let The Day Begin but also a live version from the Troubadour because how else will you get the full scale of the band’s sound? On top of that there is an album cut called Returning.
A three track EP isn’t enough new music for you? Well don’t fear because the EP is just a build up to the main event, which is the band’s sixth studio album, Specter At The Feast out on 18th March. Some quick facts about the making of the album: most of it was recorded at Dave Grohl’s studio in LA, they recalled their debut album as a reference and it “took a long time to pull together,” explains Robert. “I think we all reached the breaking point after our last tour and needed to step back for a bit. These songs brought us back to life and gave us a second chance. I’ve never been more excited to play an album live before, these songs were born to be loud”.
And loud they are!
