‘Call Me In The Afternoon‘ by Half Moon Run is a gorgeous fusion of indie and rock warmed up with rhythmic harmonies and intricate musical stylings. This is music from a highly talented and experimental trio from Montreal. Their arrangements are inspired and unpredictable and I think they challenge people’s perceptions of them every time they play live.
Having the toured the world, appearing at numerous festivals around the globe and opening for acts such as Metric and Mumford & Sons it is about time this band got more of a spotlight here in the UK. ‘Dark Eyes‘ was their debut album, which was released in 2012 and it is a beautifully arranged album with varying dynamics that keep you interested throughout the full record. This is a band to get tickets to see live if you get the opportunity, not only do they sound great but you will end up watching their dexterity and talent intently!
