I have come to really like this song by indie pop New Yorker, Darwin Deez. The video is amusingly simple and quirky.
It is one of those songs, that at first I was a bit confused, listening to all the parts and the lyrics. It seemed a bit too much, but after I had heard it a few times, it grew on me especially the “you are a radar detector” melody line.

Some of you might know M Ward already and also Zooey Deschanel but have you heard the indie folk blend of She & Him?
Gotta love Zooey’s style, works so well with the music and her voice. If this video, their single In The Sun doesn’t make you remotely happy, then you must be dead inside!
M Ward is worth checking out for his solo stuff, he is a great songwriter and his Americana/Folk style is infectious.
Their 2nd album is released on 23rd March 2010 entitled Volume Two.
Journey To Anywhere is an album by Californian hip hop group Ugly Duckling. If you like Jurassic 5 I think you will like the taste of this. This is not their most recent album, but the first one we came across.

You all know this band, they don’t really need an introduction! This song is a great story and great song. I like how they added Sara Bareilles on the live performances, works well. What do you think? I think this video shows the band’s musicianship pretty well too.
