Kings Of Leon have released a highly acclaimed warts and all rockumentary called Talihina Sky: The Story Of Kings Of Leon. I can tell you that it is a very candid look at the build up of a famous rock band and the downfalls of that lifestyle. I found that the documentary focussed largely on religion and the conflict the band had growing up with a preacher father and a religious family and then going out on the road surrounded by everything they were taught was bad.
It is a fascinating watch of the steady climb from Pentecostal Hicksville USA to the very summit of rock stardom in the modern age. It is also interesting to watch the dynamics between the band members. It was clear to see that a rock band consisting of family members has an intense bond, with strong peer pressure, blatant honesty and quick tempers.

What is SuperHeavy? Who is SuperHeavy? It is a collaboration and super group formed of some serious talent and big names in the form of Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley, and A. R. Rahman. They have just released a music video for their debut single, Miracle Worker, check it out below:
An interesting insight into the workings of the group can be seen in this behind the scenes video of the group in the studio. You can hear the different musical styles and influences, which Jagger was keen to showcase.
If you are someone who said ‘who is Nerina Pallot’ firstly shame on you and secondly I am tempted to say does it matter?! Supporting anyone at Shepherd’s Bush Empire is a great prize, it’s a bonus that it is supporting Nerina Pallot.
