I was a part of the filming of this 15 minute video and it was good fun to do. The film features three songs which you can download FOR FREE at http://chriscape.bandcamp.com. Chris Cape is an emerging artist that I have mentioned before. I have seen the development of his music from the beginning and I’m so excited to see where he is heading next!

I was told about Shad (the hip hop artist, not the fish) recently and after checking out his music, I think he could become the next big thing… bold statement I know! You may think he is similar to other artists such as Common, but he has his own style coming through.

He has already won a number of awards and has released 3 studio albums since 2005. His latest TSOL released in May 2010.

This is a tune from my childhood and it is SO good, it definitely takes me back to when I was a young kid in the hood striving to beat my homies in rap battles… wait… that’s not right.

American rapper Asher Roth… middle name Paul… has got a cool style of rapping, and I always like a good little bit of harmony in rap songs. So if you think that is your kind of thing have a listen to G.R.I.N.D here on Spotify.

I really like this song at the moment, I think it has a good chorus with cool lyrics. I am also a fan of B.o.B’s rapping and Hayley Williams’ voice so together it is a bonus! All in all a great pop song:
